At the helm of National Sales for Provantage Out of Home Media is seasoned industry veteran Steven Inman. This year, Inman is celebrating 21 years of media experience, particularly in the transit environment.
Inman began his career as part of a radio sales team. He then found his passion in transit media when he moved to Commuternet. As the transit environment in South Africa grew and transformed, so did Inman. His knowledge of the environment coupled with his understanding of the general media landscape set him in excellent stead and ensured that his career took off in leaps and strides.
He then joined Provantage where he was instrumental in expanding the transit portfolio. He focussed on bus and taxi branding as well as the development of new products that influenced the transformation of out of home in South Africa.
Jacques du Preez, MD of Provantage Media Groups says: “Steven is an out of home media and sales stalwart. Over the years he has been instrumental in the development of offerings within the transit space. He is a formidable team player and leader, his passion for the industry spills over to his team and his insights into the consumer landscape have benefitted both staff and clients.”
With an enterprising history and sales experience, Inman looks forward to continuing the success of Provantage Out of Home Media. “My goal is to continue Provantage Out of Home Media on a successful growth path and uphold the division’s reputation as the leader in effective, innovative transit media solutions and environment exclusivity,” he says.
Provantage Out of Home Media offers advertisers a number of products within the transit space. It holds exclusive rights in all PRASA stations, affording clients access to all commuters making use of South Africa’s rail network. The division also reaches in excess of three million bus commuters through exclusively managed rapid bus transport offerings and commuter shelters. Furthermore, the portfolio includes TRANSIT.TV™ – a digital place-based network that reaches over 18 million economically active taxi, bus and rail commuters each week.
