Core to her function will be assisting and facilitating sales through WestconGroup’s growing retail channel.
Prior to joining WestconGroup, Reddy – no stranger to the IT industry – worked at First Technology and WorkGroup. Her last role was at AxizWorkgroup in the position of product manager in its Hardware and Software division. She brings with her extensive knowledge of the IT industry, a keen understanding of software sales and trends in the software industry, as well as excellent business acumen in and around software sales, vendor management and product and inventory control, based on industry supply and demand.
“I am delighted to welcome Prebashini to the Consumer Solutions team. I believe her knowledge of the industry, attention to detail and her existing industry relationships with software vendors will prove to be invaluable as she services our extensive Microsoft Channel. I do believe that she will form a central part of the team as we continue to outpace local distributors as resellers’ value added distributor of choice,” states Heinz Stephan, director Consumer Solutions at WestconGroup Southern Africa.
