“We spent an amazing few hours with incredible kids, while our two mascots, Bubbles and Caesar ensured that the kids were always entertained,” says Tanuja Gangabishun, Marketing Executive at Emerald Resort & Casino.

As part of the Mandela Day educational experience, the kids were introduced to and interacted with snakes, hissing cockroaches, tortoises, a bearded dragon and of course, Joda, Animal World’s miniature goat. The children were treated to a lunch as well as fun party packs. As part of the day’s festivities they all received a toy, went on a game drive and took part in interactive educational sessions with the Animal World team.

Louise Coxen, Manager at Polokong Children’s Village said, “We would like to thank Emerald Resort & Casino and Caesars Entertainment UK for this generous donation and for inviting the kids to Animal World. They really looked forward to it and enjoyed the interaction with the animals immensely.”

Tanuja adds: “As a mother myself, I am extremely pleased that we could assist and enable Polokong to meet some of their gruelling and ongoing financial obligations. I would also like to thank Caesars Entertainment UK, on behalf of Emerald Resort & Casino, for making this generous donation possible.”
