SA’s major brands give “good news campaign” the thumbs up

Business Leadership South Africa (BLSA) hosted the official launch of SA INC’s spreading the good news campaign at their Sandton office which was attended by 80 delegates representing some of South Africa’s leading brands.

SA INC, a partnership between BLSA, Brand South Africa and Regency Global is changing conversations in South Africa by highlighting and celebrating the country’s success and achievements.

Guest speaker, Busisiwe Mavusa (COO) from BLSA, spoke about the role of business in changing the narrative both locally and internationally from one of pessimism to one of optimism and excitement. “Let’s get behind this brilliant initiative because in doing so we are positioning our country to succeed,” she said.

The SA INC campaign is the brainchild of filmmaker and executive producer, Shani Kay, who is passionate about activating South Africa’s potential. “When we share the positive news from our remarkable country, we will begin realising that there is so much we can be proud of.”

Brand manager, Sithembile Ntombela from Brand SA, said it was crucial to change global perceptions so as to attract foreign direct investment.
