This forms part of the Scottburgh-based conservation centre’s 2020 programme of wildlife activities which will educate and entertain audiences.

“For the Frogging Evenings, we identify nearby habitats that will showcase the interesting local frog species, as well as the vibrant nocturnal bird and wildlife,” explained Martin Rodrigues, Centre Manager of Crocworld. “Through this informative nature programme, we hope to engage resident interest in the natural local habitats as a way to encourage preservation and respect for the environment.”

The Crocworld team will start the Frogging Evening with a presentation on the various regional frogs with frog calls played to introduce participants to the sounds. There will then be a walk around Crocworld Conservation Centre and a viewing of the crocodile feeding before heading to the frogging site.
