After a two-year hiatus enforced by the global Covid-19 outbreak, Africa’s prestigious business event, the All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA), is set to take place on the 3rd of June 2022. This year’s event will celebrate business excellence across Africa, in a formal setting at The Sun City Superbowl, at South Africa’s premium resort destination.
“We are extremely excited to host one of our signature business events, live and in-person, again; the first one since the onset of the pandemic. What will make this year’s event even more memorable, is the fact that we will not only honour businesses and leadership, who throughout the pandemic remained steadfast, focused, demonstrated sheer determination and resilience, and who had risen above their circumstances to achieve exceptional results, but we will also be celebrating CNBC Africa’s 15th anniversary, a testimony of our very own success as a media company amid the challenges, especially during the last two years,” says Roberta Naicker, Managing Director for the ABN Group.
As a standard, the award nominees will undergo a diligent and thorough judging process, by formidable and renowned voices across the business spectrum, which will be audited by our partners at SNG Grant Thornton, prior to the awards.
CNBC Africa will also be hosting its 15th annual Corporate Golf Challenge at the Lost City golf course on Saturday the 4th of June, which will form part of the group’s fundraising efforts for the Africa Business News (ABN) Education Trust, which helps young people from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue an education in commerce, media, or business journalism. Not only will this event be held at one of South Africa’s preferred golf courses, it will also bring together some of Africa’s biggest names in business and high-profile golf enthusiasts.
