Gauteng is set to rock to the rhythms of Afrikaans music as the city prepares to host the inaugural Dag Drome Afrikaans Music Festival on 15 June at Huddle Park in Linksfield, Johannesburg.
Celebrating the rich heritage of Afrikaans music, the festival promises to be a celebration of family and music with a stellar lineup of renowned Afrikaans musicians and exciting performances from the likes of Francois van Coke, Jack Parow, Van Pletzen, Droomsindroom, Loufi, Biggy, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Alter Ego, Yo Nax, DJ Justine and more.

Dag Drome is taking place at Huddle Park Golf & Recreation located at 121 Club Street in Johannesburg from 10h00 until 20h00.
“Dag Drome was born out of a passion for curating immersive experiences that go beyond the ordinary, tapping into all that is to celebrate when it comes to Afrikaans music and creating a unique experience like never before,” says event organiser Yolandi Badenhorst.
Food and beverage stalls will be on site and concert goers of all ages are welcome, with ID required to purchase alcohol.
