The popular, family-friendly Christmas Market is returning to Renishaw Hills in Scottburgh on Friday, 29 November from 10am to 4pm. With local artisans showcasing handcrafted and homemade goods, this is the perfect time to get that Christmas shopping done early while having some festive fun in this stunning coastal estate.
“The annual Christmas Market is another fantastic example of the community-driven initiatives that make Renishaw Hills such an in-demand mature lifestyle estate,” commented Barto van der Merwe, Managing Director of Renishaw Property Developments, a subsidiary of the JSE-listed Crookes Brothers Limited. “Among the many retailers on the day will be a number of Renishaw Hills residents showcasing their incredible talents in gardening, cooking, pottery, painting and more.”
The Christmas Pop-Up Market welcomes more than 30 stalls to the scenic Renishaw Hills estate. There will be lots to eat and drink on the day – as well as great food-based Christmas gifts! This includes beer and gin by The Doghouse, vintage red wine, home-baked rusks, artisan bread, coffee, fresh meat, biltong, dairy, doughnuts, nougat, gammon and egg rolls, and more. There are also healthy dog treats on sale so the furry family members aren’t left out!
Christmas shopping is made easy with so many local artisans and businesses displaying quality goods, among them:
- Clothing for children and adults
- Jewellery and leather bags
- Quality second-hand books
- A variety of plants
- A selection of pottery
- Original watercolours and oil paintings
- Wool, scrapbooking, and other craft items
Projects with a Purpose, the community-driven charity organisation run by Renishaw Hills residents, will also be selling handmade goods on the day to raise funds for their charitable efforts.
