This Sunday is the chance to celebrate fathers and father figures everywhere, and what better way to do that than with a delicious buffet lunch with a backdrop of the gorgeous Indian Ocean? Under the watchful eye of Executive Chef and Manager, Morne van Zyl, the team has created the perfect three-course Father’s Day menu that won’t leave dad hungry. Starters include Cape Malay-styled pickled fish, biltong pate, creamy mussel & white wine pot, with an array of bread and salads. Next on the menu is roast gammon, mutton curry pie, rolled chicken fillets and a variety of delectable veggies. Finish off the meal with a delectable dessert of malva pudding, ice cream and English toffee or Bar One chocolate sauce, or a fresh fruit salad. With the Sardine Run in full swing on the KZN South Coast, there’s also a chance patrons will catch sight of the migrating shoals or Humpback whales from the Fish Eagle Café’s wraparound deck!
