Today, STRONG PR, Marketing and Events, in partnership with Secret Sunrise and The Zone @ Rosebank, invites you to be part of something meaningful, memorable and joy-filled — a 67-minute dance session to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day.
Taking place on Friday, 18th July at 18:00 on the bridge at The Zone @ Rosebank (just before the Museum of Illusions), this guided dance experience is a chance to mark your 67 minutes for Madiba in a way that’s fun, inclusive and uplifting.
Whether you’re flying solo, bringing your besties, or making it a family affair – this is an invitation to move with purpose, connect with community and spread a little joy in the golden Joburg winter light.
Tickets are R67 and can be booked via Quicket. In addition to dancing, the event supports the Build-A-Backpack initiative, where attendees are encouraged to donate essential items that will be distributed to those in need via the Rosebank Homeless Association and Immaculata Shelter.
Items you can bring to donate include: • Clothing for men and women • Shoes, socks, trousers, jerseys and beanies • Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body lotion) • Laundry detergent

The dance will be led by Mika Stefano and Herkie du Preez of STRONG PR, Marketing and Events. Expect high energy, laughter, and a feel-good atmosphere. The STRONG PR team will be there to capture the moments and memories.
