STRONG PR and STRONG Coffee proudly partner with Factorie for Youth Mental Health Awareness Campaign

STRONG PR, Marketing and Events was proud to collaborate with Factorie and The Collective for a vibrant, youth-led event at Shine Studios in Braamfontein, Johannesburg – a campaign celebrating youth empowerment and mental wellness.

Our mobile coffee brand, STRONG Coffee, was on hand to serve up signature iced lavender lattes to guests, adding a moment of calm and connection to a day filled with music, games, dancing and purpose. From the very first cup, we knew this event was more than just a brand activation, it was about creating a space where young people could feel seen, safe and supported.

Factorie, a brand under the global Cotton On Group, continues to use its platform to drive youth-focused initiatives through fashion, culture and community. Their involvement in The Collective, a global youth movement promoting mental health awareness aligns closely with our values at STRONG PR, where we believe in marketing that matters and experiences that make an impact.

For Mika Stefano, co-founder of STRONG and long-time LGBTQIA+ activist, this project hit close to home:
“As someone who has led anti-bullying and mental health campaigns in the past like ‘Push Purple’ and the South African leg of the ‘NOH8 Campaign,’ I was incredibly proud to have STRONG Coffee at the launch. These conversations matter, and the way Factorie and The Collective are reaching young people with positivity, purpose, and authenticity is something we’re honoured to be part of.”

Thank you to the team at Factorie for trusting us, and to The Collective for championing youth voices. This wasn’t just another activation, it was a moment of shared purpose and we were proud to be in the room (and on the roof!) for it.
