STRONG PR, Marketing and Events proud to deliver world-class production for the G20 YEA Summit 2025

This past weekend, STRONG PR, Marketing and Events was proud to stand at the heart of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit 2025, hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre. The summit is convened by the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and hosted by Young Entrepreneurs South Africa (YESA). Over 400 delegates from G20 member countries attended.

As part of the planning team, we were honoured to design and produce the iconic stage, inspired by the hosts – YESA (Young Entrepreneurs South Africa) logo and infused with the bold, vibrant colours of the South African flag.

The summit welcomed young leaders, entrepreneurs and delegates from 19 countries, coming together for global collaboration, dialogue and innovation. For us, being part of this process was not just a task, but a privilege.

Our journey started months ago, working closely with the South African team led by Innocentia Motau. Over the past three months, our very own Herkie du Preez, Rhoda Kekana and our stage producer Ryan Hignett worked side by side with the local organisers managing the full production of the summit. Bringing together voices from Saudi Arabia, China, Turkey, Canada, Mexico and beyond was no small feat – but through careful planning, teamwork and clear communication, we proudly delivered a truly global experience.

The G20 YEA Summit is a space where young voices are amplified, where bold ideas are tested, and where collaboration takes centre stage. Some of the standout moments included the F*CK UP Sessions, where entrepreneurs openly shared the lessons behind their failures (reminding us that setbacks are universal), and PITCH 20, a high-energy platform where young innovators battled with groundbreaking business ideas.

Another highlight was Deputy Minister in The Presidency, Mr Kenny Morolong, delivering the closing address on 20 September. He also received a signed communique containing the collective priorities and policy recommendations from the summit on behalf of The Presidency – a significant milestone that underscored the importance of youth-driven entrepreneurship in shaping policy. The summit closed with joy, laughter and an unforgettable moment of unity as delegates learned the world-famous Jerusalema dance.

As STRONG PR, Marketing and Events, we were also proud to sponsor the official highlight videos, capturing the energy, insights and unforgettable memories from both days.

Being part of the G20 YEA Summit 2025 reminded us why we do what we do: bringing people together, telling powerful stories and creating moments that matter. We are proud to have contributed to this iconic meeting of nations and proud to showcase South Africa on such a dynamic global stage.
